Behind the tambour

I love working with my clients to create a piece of furniture that is both sensibly functional and wildly beautiful, especially when it comes to building record storage! Having designed and built a collection of walnut midcentury style furniture for a client's home, I was more than happy to take on a commission to create a low profile album storage piece that would match the style of their existing pieces. Delivery was a little delayed due to our current World of Covid but finally, I dropped it off and we loaded it with some LPs for a photo op.







You can see images of the project during production in my last RPM blog post "From the workshop"... but meanwhile here it is looking pretty grand with the impressive horizontal grain tambour doors drawn closed.
